An eye-catching and creative activity which encourages children to practice and develop their fine-motor skills through cutting and folding the paper to build their own fire engine. Not only will children be delighted with their model, there is the added bonus of being able to use it as a money box too.
How To Use
This 'Build Your Own Fire Engine' activity requires the children to follow instructions, pay close attention to the lines and practise careful cutting skills. To begin, download the resource, print it out and ask the children to colour in the fire engine. Alternatively, a colour version of this activity can be found below as a related resource. Encourage the children to follow the instructions on the activity sheet, they will need access to scissors and glue and some children may need adult support for this activity. Once it is made, the fire engine will be a fabulous creation to take home and share with others.
